Rowan Williams

Rowan Williams has given a number of interviews and public speeches about world economic matters in Europe. An accomplished scholar, teacher, and writer, his conversations with experts in politics, economics, the environment, and world health in 2004 were published as The Worlds We Live in: Dialogues with Rowan Williams on Global Economics and Politics. Williams is the 104th Archbishop of Canterbury and guides the worldwide Anglican Communion.

 

Sir Partha Dasgupta

Sir Partha Dasgupta is the author of Economics: A Very Short Introduction and Human Well-Being and the Natural Environment. As the Frank Ramsey Professor of Economics at the University of Cambridge, his cutting-edge research covers welfare and development economics; the economics of technological change; and population, environmental, and resource economics.

Sir Partha was named Knight Bachelor by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in her Birthday Honours List in 2002 for "services to economics."
 

Bernard Ntahoturi

Bernard Ntahoturi is the Archbishop of the Anglican Church of Burundi. His province faces the challenges of extreme poverty, AIDS, and the results of many years of civil war. During Burundi’s peace negotiations Ntahoturi represented the country’s churches. He is a member of the Central Committee of the World Council of Churches and chair of the Inter-Anglican Standing Commission for Unity, Faith, and Order.
 

Kathryn Tanner

Kathryn Tanner’s most recent book, Economy of Grace, explores the intersections between theology and economics. She practices constructive Christian theology in the Protestant tradition. Her intent is to address contemporary challenges to belief through the creative use of both the history of Christian thought and interdisciplinary methods, such as critical, social, and feminist theory. Tanner is Dorothy Grant Maclear Professor of Theology at the University of Chicago Divinity School.
